About Michelle
and her art
Welcome to The Art of Michelle Millay.
Michelle arrived in Hollywood California in 1985 after
Graduating from Ringling School of Art and Design with a
AA in Fine Art Painting in 1983.
Michelle discovered sculpture late in her life, but found it natural to work in and was encouraged to sculpt by friends and fellow sculptors.
Michelle sculpted for Theme park companies before moving on to sculpt for Films, TV,Music Videos, and commercials.
She joined Local755 in 1991.
Her specialty is the figure, and likeness as well as ornament and animals.She has led large crews for such films as "Pirates of the Caribbean", and "From the Earth to the Moon" HBO mini series as well as other films.
Michelle sculpts in every size and medium required to do the job such as , Wax, Super sculpey, Clay, Chavant, and Polyurathane foams.
Recently Michelle has expanded her tools to include the art of the computor,utilizing programs like ZBrush, Maya, Corel Painter, and Photoshop.
