Millay Studios was developed in 1990 by
Michelle Millay. Located near the Hollywood Studios, she has put her
talents to use on many films. (see Resume)Michelle's
specialties include figurative, portrait likeness,ornament,and
decorative sculptures. She works in most sculpting mediums;
clay,polyurenthane foams,sculpey,and wax.The size of her work can
range from 3 inches to over-life size.
Michelle has been drawing since
she was a toddler. Her parents seeing this, incouraged her with
lessons and art books.Teachers soon realized her abilities and
furthered her education with art. She entered Art shows and
competitions.At Satellite High school , she illustrated
drawings for the school's literary magazine. Michelle drew most of
her life until she discovered sculpture at Ringling School of Art
and Design in Sarasota Florida.From there on, it was natural to
sculpt and express herself in the three dimension.After arriving in
Los Angeles she found sculpting jobs at Themepark Companies that did
Animatronic sculptures for rides. Michelle also worked at giftware
and toy companies. Soon she was working for the film industry and
had the reputation for sculpting the human form with speed and
